Is it really free? How many summaries do I get?

Does it work on videos without captions?
The tool is built to transcribe audio directly, so videos without captions are supported. If a specific video can't be processed, you'll see a clear message — nothing is counted against your quota.
How long can a video be?
Up to 2 hours per video on the free tier. For context, ScreenApp's free plan caps recordings at 45 minutes (as of Aug 2026). The planned Pro tier will support videos up to 6 hours.
Which videos are supported?
Public YouTube videos. Private videos aren't supported. Other platforms may come later — they aren't supported today.
What happens to my data?
Audio is deleted after transcription, and transcripts are deleted after your summary is generated. No account, no email required. Analytics only load if you consent. Details: Privacy Policy.
Who can see my summaries?
Anyone with the link. Every summary gets a shareable URL — treat it as public. Anyone with this link can view the result page.
Are AI summaries accurate?
They can contain errors. Summaries are AI-generated for reference and aren't a substitute for the original video — verify important facts by jumping back to the source via the timestamps.
